The short version. Your email is your account. Your answers and scores are kept so you can see your progress from any device. We record how the site is used, including where you came from, to improve it and measure our advertising. We never see your card number. Write to appsupport.solus@gmail.com and we will delete everything.
1. Who is responsible
IQ Test is run by Solus_Apps, registered in Ukraine, which is the controller of the data described here. For any question or request about your data, write to appsupport.solus@gmail.com. We reply within three business days.
2. What we collect, and why
- Your email address, given before the result: it is your account, you sign in with a code we send to it, and it is how we find your subscription when you cancel. We also email you about it: receipts and failed payments, a copy of the result you paid for, and, if you haven’t unlocked your result, up to six reminders over the following five days. Every reminder has a one-click unsubscribe.
- Your answers to every question, how long each took, and the scores worked out from them — that is the product. The test before payment is stored the same way: it becomes your first result in the app.
- A name and an age, only if you enter them in Settings. The name greets you; the age is for comparing you with people your age.
- Where you came from: the campaign marks in the link that brought you (such as utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid, ttclid), kept to know which advertisement worked.
- What you do in the service: the steps of the test you reach, the pages and tests you open, payments and cancellations, as a journal of events tied to your account.
- Payment information from Whop: that a payment succeeded or failed (with the bank’s reason), its amount before and after fees, your subscription’s status and dates, and the email you used at checkout if it differs from yours.
- The reason you give when cancelling, to learn what to improve.
3. Who processes data for us
- Whop — payments and subscriptions. Your card details go into Whop’s own form and never reach us
- Supabase — our database (hosted in the EU) and the email sign-in codes
- Resend — sends our emails. It receives your email address and the letter itself
- Cloudflare — hosting and protection of the site
- OpenAI — writes the summary when you ask for one. It receives your scores only: never your name, email or answers
- Our customer analytics system — receives the journal of events above with your account ID, and its script on our pages records the pages you visit, where you came from, your device and browser type, and a replay of the session (clicks, scrolling and what appears on screen). We use it to see where people get stuck and which campaigns work. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the script runs only once you accept cookies in the banner
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — measures and improves our ads. Its pixel on the test’s pages reports that the test was opened. Our server tells Meta when you finish the test, open the checkout and pay or renew, with the amount; with each it sends your email and account ID in hashed form, the ad click ID, Meta’s browser ID from its cookies, your IP address and browser type. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland none of this happens unless you accept Meta’s cookies in the banner; elsewhere, unless you decline them
Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
4. Cookies and similar storage
- iq.user — keeps you signed in on this device (a year). Without it the service cannot work
- iq.login, iq.cancel.email, iq.cancel — remember an email waiting for its code while you sign in or cancel (up to an hour)
- iq.theme — the light or dark look you chose
- Our analytics script keeps an anonymous visitor ID, your session and the campaign marks in your browser’s storage
- _fbp, _fbc — Meta’s pixel: an ID for this browser and the ad you clicked, if any (90 days)
- iq.consent — your answer to the cookie banner (a year). To change it, clear this site’s cookies and answer again
5. Legal bases (GDPR, UK GDPR)
- Performance of a contract — your account, your tests and scores, your subscription
- Legitimate interests — understanding how the service is used, measuring our advertising, preventing abuse and fraud, and answering you when you write
- Consent — analytics and advertising measurement where your local law requires consent; you can withdraw it at any time
- Legal obligation — keeping payment records as long as tax law requires
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form. In the EU, the EEA and the UK you can also restrict or object to processing, and complain to your data-protection authority. Write to appsupport.solus@gmail.com from the address your account is on — that is enough to identify you.
Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription. To stop payments, cancel at /cancel as well, or say so in the same email.
7. How long we keep things
- Your account, answers, scores and journal — until you ask us to delete them
- Payment records — as long as tax and accounting law requires
- Sign-in codes — they stop working after an hour
8. Where your data goes
Our providers are in the European Union and the United States, so your data may leave your country. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards each provider offers.
9. Security
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Only our own server code can reach the database; the browser never holds its keys. Sign-in is by one-time code, so there is no password of yours to leak.
10. Children
IQ Test is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to appsupport.solus@gmail.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we update this page first; for material changes we also tell you by email. The date at the top is always the current version.
